Cookie Statement

What are Cookies, Tags/Beacons, and JavaScripts?
Most websites use convenient technologies that increase ease of use and make sites appeal to every type of visitor. Well-known examples of these technologies include cookies and scripts (hereinafter collectively referred to as ‘cookies’). Cookies can be used by website owners or third parties – advertisers, for example – who communicate through the website you visit.

The use of cookies is safe. No personal information, such as a telephone number or an email address, can be derived from cookies. In other words, cookies cannot be used for email and telemarketing promotions.
We use cookies, tags/beacons, and JavaScript, so that we can detect visitors’ browsers and thus measure the number of visitors to our website.

Statistics can then be created from these data. These statistics give insight into how often our websites are visited, where visitors spend most of their time, and so on. This allows us to make the structure, navigation options, and content of the website as user-friendly as possible. We cannot trace statistics and other reports back to people.
We believe it is important that you know which cookies our websites use and for which purposes. After all, we would like to guarantee your privacy and the user-friendliness of our websites as much as possible. Below you can read more about the cookies used by and via our websites and for what purposes.

Kalibra uses three types of cookies
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your device by the website you visit. The next time you visit that same website, these cookies ensure that your device is recognised. By using cookies and similar technologies such as pixel tags / beacons, and scripts (‘cookies’), the website can store information about visits and visitors. We place some of the cookies on the websites ourselves, whereas others are placed by third parties. Third-party cookies may also collect data outside of our websites. Cookies can be used to personalise the visit to a website. There are different types of cookies, which are used for the following purposes:

  • Functional cookies

These are cookies that allow users to view kalibra.nl, use the features on the websites, and access secure areas of the sites. The information collected through these cookies is not used for marketing purposes

  • Analytical cookies

These cookies help Kalibra improve its website. These cookies collect information about how visitors use kalibra.nl, including information about the most visited pages or the number of error messages displayed. WebAnalytics cookies are an example of this type of cookie.

  • Marketing and other cookies

Marketing cookies on kalibra.nl are usually placed by advertising networks. These networks are companies that act as intermediaries between Kalibra and advertisers. These cookies are used to:

  • show relevant, personalised advertisements or offers via all types of media (such as email, social media, and banners) based on your visit to and click behaviour on kalibra.nl;
  • limit the number of times each ad is shown;
  • measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign;
