Inspection

Metrological inspection involves testing whether a measuring instrument complies with metrological legislation. Kalibra is a formal inspection body. We carry out inspections as an independent institution. A metrological inspection guarantees objectivity and expertise.

Your Measuring Equipment In Order With Inspection

Why would you have your measuring instruments inspected? Not every organisation immediately knows the answer to this question. The use of inspected equipment is mandatory under the Metrology Act, in particular when selling products to the consumer: when a supplier sells a certain quantity of a product, they must ensure that the consumer receives what is paid for.  A measuring device is calibrated to determine the accuracy of the equipment. In addition to calibration, an inspection assesses whether the measuring instrument meets all the established requirements. The customer receives the right value for money for the quantity as measured by an approved measuring instrument.
